WHAT DR. SCHULZE SAYS ABOUT INTESTINAL FORMULA #3:
This formula is a great tasting, liquid laxative for the whole family. Although I originally designed this herbal colon cleanser primarily for children, it's strong enough for adults, too.

In fact, many adults prefer it instead of Intestinal Formula #1 because it has a slightly different action. The difference cannot really be described, it has to be experienced.

Every year, hundreds of parents brought their babies, toddlers and children into my clinic. Some were very constipated. I had some babies that were so constipated, they had fecal matter backed up into their stomachs. One little 8 month-old baby in my clinic, who was actually set up for a colostomy surgery, actually regurgitated fecal matter. I am happy to say that this child never had the surgery. In my clinic, this formula saved hundreds of children and teenagers from having torturous, disfiguring and life-ruining colon surgeries, and all of my constipated kids were pooping like horses in just a day or two after starting this formula. This formula NEVER let me, or the kids, down.

Don't let the doctor fill your kids with toxic mineral oil, or tell you that constipation is normal and that they will grow out of it. Medical doctors will often tell you that it is normal for kids to have only one bowel movement every 3 to 5 days. This is normal for America, the leading nation in Bowel Disease and Cancer.

METABOLIC ACTION AND BOTANICAL CHEMISTRY:

As stated under Intestinal Formula #1, Senna leaf and pod and Cascara Sagrada aged bark both contain the phytochemical anthraquinone, called emodin, which increases the normal muscular contractions (peristalsis) of the gastro-intestinal tract, especially the colon. This formula promotes soft, easy bowel movements and it will help strengthen the colon for better future elimination. Figs and prunes have been used effectively as a natural treatment for constipation since the beginning of recorded medical history. The base of this tonic, California Fig concentrate, acts not only as a mild natural laxative, but also make the formula sweet and tastes good for the kids. Anise seed oil and Clove bud oil are strong carminatives and antispasmodics and therefore are used to relieve gas, cramps, colic, indigestion, nausea and stomach aches. Tangerine oil is anti-bacterial but is also used to mask and flavor the medication.

DOSAGE:

For adults: (Generally if you need over 2 teaspoons then use Intestinal Formula #1.)

For children
10 to 25 pounds 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon 75 to 100 pounds 3/4 to 1 teaspoon
25 to 50 pounds 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon 100 to 150 pounds 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoon
50 to 75 pounds 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon above 150 pounds 2 or more teaspoon

Kids love the taste, a sweet fig-tangerine flavor, so don't let them drink the whole bottle. Always start the children out with the lower dosages and work your way up to whatever dosage is needed. It is better to have them be constipated one more day than to have cramps, diarrhea or a pooping accident from taking too much, which can turn them off from ever using the formula again (and live a life of constipation), so take it easy on the dosage at first.
And of course, you may exceed dosages recommended above - whatever it takes to get the bowels working regularly.
